men's underwear size guide – brand-by-brand chart
Every brand cuts differently – the same size label (S, M, L) doesn't mean the same waist measurement across different manufacturers. Modus Vivendi, C-IN2 and the Italian brands (Bikkembergs, Moschino, Dsquared2) each use their own size charts, so the best way to pick the right size is to measure yourself, not rely on the label. This guide brings together the official size charts for every brand we sell, in one place.
how to measure correctly
For an accurate result, measure without clothes or in thin underwear, using a soft tailor's tape that doesn't press into the skin.
- waist – relax and measure the narrowest part of your waist, without sucking in your stomach
- hips – stand straight with feet together and measure the widest part of your hips
Measurements in the charts are approximate and may vary – if the fabric is stretchy, at the listed measurements size S fits snugly, while size M sits looser.

what if you're between two sizes
If your measurement falls exactly between two sizes in the chart, the choice depends on the fabric and your preferred fit: stretchy fabrics (cotton with elastane, modal) can be sized down for a snugger fit, while mesh and microfiber fabrics without elastane are better sized up for comfort.
